Procedure

The first step is for us to gather evidence showing that the proposed defendant was negligent and at fault and then to advise you on your chances of success. We will probably need to speak to you and any witnesses to the accident and review relevant documentary evidence.

Approximately, over 95% of personal injury cases settle without the need for an actual court hearing.

If we issue proceedings on your behalf you will be advised and you will see the documents that are lodged at the court together with medical reports and details of damages which we claim on your behalf. When this happens the insurance company or their solicitors may enter a defence

At any stage the defendants may wish to make an offer of settlement, which we will discuss with you and if necessary we may ask a barrister for advice

Your case will be conducted in accordance with your wishes but we will advise you on the law and give you the benefit of our experience to help you make decisions
