Jeanette Miller - Senior & Managing Partner

The firm was founded by Jeanette who is the Senior & Managing Partner in 2001. After obtaining an honours degree at Leeds University and completing her academic career at Chester College of Law she entered the legal profession as a trainee solicitor at which time she became the victim of an accident herself. Having fallen down some faulty steps and injuring her back at work, Jeanette knows all too well what effects such injuries can have and how it feels going through the process of bringing a claim for compensation.
It was after successfully recovering compensation for her injuries that Jeanette was inspired to form her own practice with the kind of lawyers she would have wanted to deal with her case. Lawyers who understand that it is not only about money, but also about getting physically fit again and achieving some form of recognition for the pain, suffering and injustice a victim experiences after they have been involved in an accident.
Jeanette went on to be head of a department of lawyers at Donns Solicitors, a renowned personal injury firm and later, Assistant Practice Manager at Mendelsons Solicitors in Manchester before setting up her own firm.
In forming J.S. Miller Solicitors, Jeanette has recruited staff who are experienced in the field of Personal Injury Law, some of whom have been involved in Court of Appeal and other high profile cases such as the Gulf War Syndrome Cases.
Jeanette's vision has Client Care and Customer Satisfaction at its forefront. She realises, not least, through her own personal experience, but also through her many years of experience of dealing with personal injury cases for others that it is important for victims to have easy access to the lawyer dealing with their case when they need to.
We aim to explain the legal process to our clients so that it is no longer the source of further stress or the minefield it may seem to be at the outset of the case.
In order to cater for all of our clients we have lawyers working at J.S.Miller Solicitors with experience of all types of personal injury cases. Jeanette has ultimate responsibility for managing the firm and ensuring that high standards are provided and maintained by all members of staff.
Jeanette's particular areas of expertise in the field of personal injury include tripping and slipping accidents, road traffic accidents and accidents at work.
Jeanette is a member of The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the Pan-European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL).
